Rob has worked for Lingwood Security for over three years and has recently moved into a supervisor role due to his knowledge, diligence and passion for the Security industry. He is responsible for ensuring the efficient management of operational interaction, supervising of staff and liaising with Clients.

How did you first get involved with Lingwood Security Management?
My wife had used Lingwood as bed watch at the RLI, she suggested that I applied for a job when I was leaving the Military
What was your first impression of Lingwood Security Management?
The fast pace that the control room and main office work at
What's your first memory of working at Lingwood Security Management?
The first day working in the control room, I ended up guarding a new build house on the side of Lake Windermere in the sun and getting paid for it
What has surprised you most about working at Lingwood Security Management?
The variety of work Lingwood undertake, across the UK
What do you find most challenging about your work?
Getting to the right place on time, since lock down has been lifted the traffic on the roads seems to be a lot more frantic
What's the best/worst thing to happen since you started working at Lingwood Security Management?
Driving through the Lakes on a summer morning the views are amazing, driving down the same road during a winter storm to pick someone up from site and just getting out before the roads were flooded
What do you wish other people knew about Lingwood Security Management?
That the company is not just local, it has sites all over the UK
What interesting characters have you worked with at Lingwood Security Management?
Greg who worked in the control room, the amount of knowledge he had in his head was unbelievable
What do you think will change at Lingwood Security Management over the next five years, or in the industry as a whole?
Until we know how Covid 19 pans out, there is still a lot of uncertainty with the economy
